FTPit Pro is a FileMaker® Pro plug-in which allows you to transfer files to and from your computer using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). This plug-in is designed to be easy to use for anyone familiar with FileMaker Pro Calculations and does not require you to learn any sort of scripting language. You can use this plug-in to back up files to a remote server, update static web pages, or completely recreate an FTP client within FileMaker Pro.

If you are upgrading from our (Classic) FTPit plug-in or are still using the old External() based functions, please see the Porting Guide in the Charts section to upgrade to the new functions. You can also use the new Script Steps in FileMaker 16 and above.

The installer database includes the FileMaker Pro client version of FTPit Pro as well as the FileMaker Server version. The Server Edition can be installed on your server for use with Scheduled Scripts, Perform Script on Server, Web Direct, and Custom Web Publishing. The installer database also includes the iOS version of the plug-in to use with the FileMaker iOS App SDK. The Server Edition and iOS version provide all the functionality of the FileMaker Pro version except for the functions that show dialogs.
