Configure the plug-in
Now the plug-in is installed, you can set the default preferences in the plug-in Configuration Dialog.
On Mac OSX, go to the "FileMaker Pro" menu, and then select "Preferences". This will bring up FileMaker Pro's "Preferences" dialog.
A commonly used setting in the Configuration Dialog is the "Backward Compatibility" option. This setting is found on the "Advanced" tab.
Backward Compatibility
If you previously used our Classic FTPit plug-in, your scripts probably use the old style functions. The old style functions all begin with the word "External", so they are easy to spot. In order to make migrating from the old functions to the new functions easier, this setting gives FTPit Pro the ability to use the functions of the Classic FTPit plug-in. Please see this FAQ article for more information.
