Excellent cross platform solution! I Would recommend it to anyone. [A certain other email plug-in] is a nice plug-in, but it is not cross platform and a bit cumbersome in comparison.

Many times a question pops up about Send Mail. Someone always answers with "have you tried the plug-in SMTPit?" Well I thought if that many people say it works I'll give it a try. I am the manager of a large regional trade show. I use FileMaker to manage the entire show. I use SMTPit and POP3it to send and receive email to 160 Exhibitors and 4000 Attendees yearly. I use POP3it to get mail from the inquiry form from our website and integrate it directly into fields in FileMaker - a huge time savings... Thank You CNS!

I have installed your plug-in and were able to easily customize your scripts into our customers solutions. We used POP3it to collect replied emails where the original has been generated in FileMaker Pro 5.5 and the reply's created in outlook. We set up a mailbox in outlook and configured Microsoft exchange to CC all mail to this new mailbox. We customized the CNS example FileMaker file to show Order specific email replies and automatically find and delete all other irrelevant mail. The scripts were very easy to understand and modify to suit our needs as CNS has provided comments throughout the scripts explaining step by step the behavior of the external functions. The plug-in and FileMaker example file provided by CNS fitted seamlessly into our FileMaker data base solution has functioned without a single problem from the initial installation to date. Great plug-ins.

I have used SMTPit on a number of occasions with great success. The plug-in was easy to use, worked better than I expected, and I didn't have to spend a lot of time on a learning curve to use it the first time.

Great Product! SMTPit! allows us to creatively manage communication and database submissions from visitors to our website. Based on how we use SMTPit! with our FileMaker databases, it has also helped streamlined our workflow and increased internal communication among staff. We especially like the cross-platform functionality and appreciate the useful sample scripts and documentation.

The plug-in allows me to message customers, distribute dozens of different reports on a daily basis. The plug-in works flawlessly, and allows us to do things that would be very difficult/messy to do with any other solution. Plug-ins are Good!

Cool stuff! POP3it solved a job I'm in the middle of and you made it so easy! I needed a simple way to get the results of web survey into FileMaker Pro, without web-enabling the FMP database itself. I simply had a CGI email each survey response and collected the emails directly into an FMP field using POP3it. A parsing calculation then placed the answer to each question into the field where it belonged. Simple as pie, and, due to POP3it, we completed the project under budget!

POP3it has to be the coolest. I have tried another similar product. POP3it delivers with stability, superb attachment and HTML support.

There's no need for any other E-mail program now. Do everything in FileMaker ! The ability to link all your contact information to your clients, including e-mails is a very powerful information tool. The plug-ins come complete with beautiful demonstration databases - ready to go, as soon as you've downloaded them. The plug-ins have well written, easy to understand PDF manuals. Excellent !

Demo works great! It got impractical to enter email info in both the database and the email program. We also ran into limitations on what our ISP would let us send to in one email and what some ISPs would receive. SMTPit should fix it all for us. Thanks!

The HTML mailer worked nicely. I should be able to make a nice looping script to send all 2800 contacts a nice HTML email.

Great product! We have used SMTPit to replace FileMaker's built-in e-mail sending capabilities for a large client of ours. They have 26 locations and approximately 300 users, who all use SMTPit's e-mail sending capability regularly. Using the new plug-in downloading architecture of FileMaker Server 5.5, the SMTPit plug-in download is totally transparent to the users, and has worked flawlessly for us over the last six months. We have not had a single tech support call or problem that was related to SMTPit - it just works great.

I SMTP-It as a FileMaker Developer, but the real user is my customer who purchased a site license after seeing what it could do.

It appears that these plug-ins are exactly what I've been looking for: full FileMaker-based email functionality, easy to use yet completely flexible.

I have been testing this product for a while and I think it is one of the most useful additions to FileMaker I have come across. Apart from the standard FileMaker plug-ins the only others I use are SMTPit and POP3it. They are the most useful additions I can imagine to FileMaker Pro, The documentation gives clear and concise instruction on how to use them. They cut down the administrative time required as alert emails can be automatically generated immediately using SMTPit. POP3it allows me to publish emails from a list server directly on the web using my FileMaker Pro application.

I use your product for a variety of tasks. SMTPit has made my job easier, my solutions more impressive and my boss happier - thanks for a wonderful product.

I was expecting (FileMaker 8) to just send the email. Not to still send through a (email) client. Frankly, if it still sends through an (email) client it's doesn't have much use to me. I still need a plug-in.
