Fort Worth, TX, June 1, 2010 -- Comm-Unity Networking Systems releases an update for POP3it Pro containing bug fixes and core plug-in updates. POP3it Pro is available immediately at http://www.pop3itpro.com/ for both Mac OS(R) X and Windows(R).

Description

POP3it Pro allows you to connect to a POP3 Email Server and download email directly into your FileMaker Pro database. The plug-in also allows you to import email directly from the mailbox storage files of popular email clients like Thunderbird, Eudora, and Apple Mail. With the advanced plug-in architecture of FileMaker Pro 7 and above, POP3it Pro has the freedom to work with your email databases like never before. It's entirely possible to add email downloading capabilities to your databases without writing a single script.

What's New

- Fixed a bug in CheckAccount with inserting emails with blank date values. The new email record wasn't passing the validation checks.
- Updated the code that determines a filename for unnamed (inline) attachments to guess the correct extension based on the Content-Type of the attachment instead of just using the extension .zzz.
- Added in some code to work around PDFs that are incorrectly encoded with Quoted-Printable encoding by Outlook/Exchange.
- Imported many core updates from other CNS Plug-ins.

This version is a free upgrade for anyone with a 4.x license. All you need to do is download the latest version and install it. Your existing registration and settings will be imported into the new version.

A 1-User License for the client version of POP3it Pro is $65. To use the Server Edition of POP3it Pro, you will need to purchase at least a 10-User License. A 10-User License is $319.
