Fort Worth, TX, May 4, 2008 -- Comm-Unity Networking Systems releases an update to POP3it Pro, the easiest plug-in for downloading email directly into a FileMaker® Pro database with little to no scripting necessary in its most basic mode. This update fixes issues with downloading all new email from certain mail servers, adds better server configuration support, and fixes some issues with downloading Apple Mail generated emails. POP3it Pro is available immediately at http://pop3itpro.cnsplug-ins.com/ for both Mac OS® X and Windows®.
Description
POP3it Pro allows you to connect to a POP3 Email Server and download email directly into your FileMaker Pro database. The plug-in also allows you to import email directly from the mailbox storage files of popular email clients like Thunderbird, Eudora, and Apple Mail. With the advanced plug-in architecture of FileMaker Pro 7 and above, POP3it Pro has the freedom to work with your email databases like never before. It's entirely possible to add email downloading capabilities to your databases without writing a single script.

If you currently own a license of POP3it Pro 4.0 or above, this is a free upgrade. All you need to do is download the latest version and install it. Your existing registration and settings will be imported into the new version.

What's New
- Fixed a bug with CheckAccount where some new emails were not being downloaded because the UIDL checking code was case-insensitive.
- Corrected a couple of Registration bugs.
- Updated the Server Plug-in code to allow AddAccount, GetAccountNames, GetAccountOption, RemoveAccount, and SetAccountOption to run even if the Demo Timeout has expired. This keeps the Server Config database from returning errors during testing.
- Added some code to better handle Apple Mails that only contained a single image.
- Fixed a bug with the Attachment FileName decoding of Apple Mail generated emails.
